Best NBA Beefs Of All Time
I know that in the technical sense, the NFL is the most popular sports league in America. They get crazy ratings and fill up massive stadiums every week. I get it. But let’s keep it a buck, the NBA is the most popular sports league in the US, it has the most popular players, the dopest gear, the best sneakers and the funniest storylines. Even without the crazy TV ratings, the NBA is everywhere and with good reason.
One of the best things about the NBA is all of the crazy beefs throughout history. Sometimes, some guys just don’t like each other, and in the NBA that comes out in all kind of ways. Maybe there’s an actual fight on the court, or maybe they’re just a bunch of Drake-level pettiness. And sometimes, there’s even diss songs. It’s amazing, and I will never get tired of two NBA people just hating each other for seemingly no reason.
With all that said, here’s the 3 greatest NBA beefs of all-time.
1. Steph Curry vs. LeBron James
Let’s get this one out of the way first. This is one of those beefs you can just feel on the court, and after going against each other for four straight Finals, you kind of get why LeBron and Steph aren’t really feeling each other. They never fought or anything, but they have exchanged their fair share of trash talk, and even had to be separated a few times on the court the past few years. It’s just clear, Bron and Chef Curry just don’t feel each other.
2. Sasha Vujacic vs. Goran Dragic
Sometimes NBA feuds are like for real for real, and the beef between these two Slovenian ballers is definitely in that box. A dust up with Vujacic in the playoffs a few years back earned Dragic the first technical of his career, the beef apparently started in 2009 when both guys tried out for their national team in Slovenia. Only Dragic is still in the league, but the beef probably still exists even now.
3. LeBron James vs. Lance Stephenson
LeBron has his share of enemies and rivals in the league, but there may be no thorn in his side more irritating than Lance Stephenson. This is probably over since both guys play for the Lakers now, but we’ll always have that gif of Lance blowing into LeBron’s ear.
